Debbie and John welcome you to their home in the beautiful Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Water.

Strathspey Bed and Breakfast is only a pleasant 5 minute walk from Bourton-on-the-Water village centre.

Bourton-on-the-Water's most prized feature in the tranquil river Windrush which flows through the village. Its source begins about ten miles from the village and is fed from many springs. It enters the village, passing over the rapids at the Old mill and flows under several stone bridges. On average it is only 10 inches deep and the water is so clear.

It is definitely one of the most prized showplaces of the Cotswolds and earns the title "Venice of the Cotswolds".

We think that our home is situated in a lovely part of the village; being next door to the Old Mill and having the river Windrush flowing just beyond the back of our garden. It makes a very pleasant short stroll into the village along the river bank and across the meadow. Keep an eye out for kingfishers, dippers and trout.

Our home:

Strathspey is a lovely traditional Cotswold stone house with parking available, situated in the quieter part of the village and yet only about a five minute walk from the village centre.

Our aim is to make you, our guest, feel comfortable and relaxed during your stay with us and if there is anything you need, just ask and hopefully we'll be able to oblige.

All our rooms are tastefully furnished with comfortable beds, colour television, clock radio hairdryer and a hospitality tray.

We have three en-suite rooms: two doubles and one twin / family room

One of the doubles is on the ground floor and has the benefit of a separate entrance leading on to the lovely patio.

Strathspey B&B. Bourton-on-the-Water Cotswoldsen-suite shower rooms have a shaving point, towels, soap, shampoo and shower gel. Towels are changed daily.

Garden:
You are most welcome to make use of our south-facing garden. Why not relax on a sun lounger or sit on the lovely patio.

Dogs:
By prior arrangement we are more than happy to accommodate your dog, as long as he/she is well behaved

Guest Lounge:
Relax in our lounge, browse through our range of tourist guides and magazines, watch television or play some of our games made available for your use.

Hearty Breakfast:
Cereals, fruit juices, yoghurts, toast and preserves and a full English breakfast. You choose.
