The Clan Campbell stronghold of Kilchurn Castle stands at the north eastern end of Loch Awe. The location of the hotel offers glorious views of the loch and the mighty Ben Cruachan.

Our magnificent Cruachan Restaurant runs for over half the loch side frontage of the hotel. The excellent menus are complimented by the superb views from the tables. The cuisine is modern Scottish.

When you want to relax, read a book or just enjoy a quiet drink in our panoramic conservatory, which offers truly spectacular views of the east side and northern end of the loch. From the conservatory you can see Ben Cruachan, also called the Hollow Mountain, due to the hydro electric dam.

The hotel also serves breakfast every morning in the conservatory with the panoramic views providing a spectacular backdrop to this important meal of the day, which includes a range of traditional Scottish fare.
