Hardwick House is an eight bedroom guest house and is personally run by the owners Drenagh and Simon Wootton.

There is an on site car park, so you can leave your car and explore the town and easily walk to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare's Birthplace, shops and restaurants.

Hardwick House is situated away from the main roads in a quiet residential area of Stratford upon Avon, only a five minute walk to the town centre, theatre and shops. It is only a couple of minutes' walk to the Welcombe Hills and Clopton Park - a local nature reserve.

Centrally located, in a quiet area, and yet only a short distance from the main attractions. Shakespeare's birthplace and the theatres are within easy walking distance.

If you are a sporting enthusiast - Simon used to play professional cricket for Warwickshire and Gloucestershire making his Gloucestershire debut at the Cheltenham Cricket festival, being the 500th player to play for Gloucestershire since W.G. Grace.

All bedrooms are ensuite and non smoking, you will find all the 'usual' facilities such as TV, tea & coffee tray, hairdryers, together with some thoughtful extras.

High standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout and all bedrooms are fresh and well decorated. Built in 1887 the building is classic Victorian, keeping lovely and warm in the Winter and cool in the Summer.

Enjoy a delicious English breakfast in our non smoking dining room. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order. We use bacon and sausages from local butchers. We are happy to cater for vegetarians and special diets.

We serve breakfast from 8am-9am Mon-Fri and at weekends from 8.30am-10am, however just let us know on arrival and we can usually arrange a later time, if you want to have a lazy morning!'
